Ricci was one of the four siblings born in the home of Sarah Murdoch and Ralph Ricci in Santa Monica, California. In the 1960s, her mother was employed as a Ford Agency Model. She then became an agent for real estate. Her father worked as lawyer, as well as a primal-scream therapist. Ricci claimed she was Italian due to her birth name. Some Italians were married by an Irishwoman four or five generations ago. The couple was blessed with boys. The Irish were married to more wives and had more children.
